This guide will walk you through the process of booking a session with Laura Squire Studios and what happens before, during and after your Boudoir Experience!
Once you review all the information in this guide, it's time to schedule your complimentary, no-obligation phone consultation so we can answer any questions you may have and complete the booking process!

Q: I'm a little nervous, is this normal?
A: My goodness, YES!!! At this point, we would be much more concerned if you *weren't* nervous! We love when our clients are nervous - it tells us that you are a NORMAL person! Getting outside of our comfort zones is always a little scary, but don't worry, you are in great hands with us. We will be here to guide you through the entire experience; from what to wear, to hair and makeup, and especially how to do all of these crazy ass poses. If you're anything like me, I get all 'deer-in-the-headlights' when someone points a camera at me. Reeeeally sexy - haha! Normally the first thing that pops through my head is "oh my god make it stop". But here's the good news - because we know how truly awkward it can be, we've developed several techniques that make it much less awkward and will be talking you through it the entire time! You will also be seeing images on the back of the camera right from the start. You won't believe how amazing you look! After that, everyone always calms down and really starts to have fun with it!

Private Viewing and Ordering Session
Pre-Shoot Consultation: The first thing it includes is called a Pre-Shoot Consultation. We will be working together to determine your style, your comfort level, and how you see yourself being photographed! This can be done via e-mail or phone, however you prefer. We will also be sending you some instructions for a Pinterest board in your Welcome E-mail if you'd like to put one together! This will help give me a visual for what kind of style you like, but is totally optional!
Wardrobe: A Pre-Session Fitting is included in your package if you want it! This is an optional 30-minute appointment that takes place about 4-6 weeks before your Boudoir Session where you get to meet me, see the Studio where we'll be working, and try on all of the options in our Client Wardrobe! We understand that lingerie shopping can be a little (or a lot) terrifying, but trust us when we say we have great options in the studio for EVERY body. Rest assured that you will leave knowing you have several amazing options already picked out to wear for your shoot! We recommend having 3-4 outfits in total for your shoot, but that can be a combination of pieces that you bring or anything that we have in the Client Wardrobe - it's totally up to you! We do ask that EVERYONE brings a nude thong and a black thong to wear under our garments as a bare minimum (ha - see what I did there?). Aside from that, feel free to bring anything you want! We will sort through it once you arrive for either your Pre-Session Fitting or on the day of your shoot.
Hair and Makeup: Professional hair and makeup is always included with all our sessions! We will ask that you arrive to the Studio with a clean, moisturized face and clean, dry hair so that we can get right to work. Let the transformation begin!
The Photoshoot: It's about two hours of shoot time, but the whole experience takes about 3-4 hours including hair and makeup. If we do same day image viewing, you would be here for about 5 hours. We shoot Thursday and Friday and begin at 8:45 AM.
VIEWING AND ORDERING SESSION
Your Viewing and Ordering Session is where you get to see all of your images for the first time (our favorite part, the big reveal!!), make sure you love them, choose your favorites, and if you would like to purchase any prints or products, this is the time to do so!
Q: What can I expect to spend at my Viewing and Ordering Session?
Some women come to me and just want to purchase a few images, others invest a lot more. You can purchase from our Investment Menu, which will be sent to you following the completion of your booking process.
Q: Can we order albums, pronts, wall art and when do we get them?
You may order physical products after your digital purchase. This include s an album, any prints or framed prints. We always show you the beautiful print products we have during your image review. It will take about 2-3 weeks for your digital images to be available, and 2-8 weeks for albums and or wall art (it depends on what you order) We take time editing your images and making sure the products are top notch!
Q: Do you offer Pre-Session Payment Plans?
Yes! We handle all of our Pre-Session Payment Plans in-house with no fees or interest. The further out you book your session, the longer you have to make payments towards your purchase. You can make payments monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly depending on how you would like it to be set up! It's super simple and easy. All payment plans are handled prior to the session, we do not offer in-house payment plans AFTER your session, so please select your date and book accordingly. You are, of course, always welcome to pay in full the day of your session with cash or credit/debit cards.
Q: How can I pay for the Image Packages?
We accept Venmo, cash, cards, cheques.
